It's my first day on holiday where I'm actually by myself. This is a rare and unusual thing and I don't have many plans. I've got some laundry to finish up, I plan to watch as much of my DVR'd programming as I can to get that back to a reasonable level, and I think I will begin the purge of many of my work clothes. Beyond that, I'm going to cuddle the kitten and read some books.
There was some fresh snow on the ground this morning. It was nice and fluffy and clean looking. I enjoy it, even though it's getting close to the end of the winter months and I'm glad to have the warmth back. It's nicer than the transition brown and slop that currently is around.
Not too much else happening today. I've been resisting the urge to check my work email. Life will and does go on without me there. No matter how much I'd like to think otherwise, I'm replaceable, just like everyone else.
