It's been a quiet few days in the house as we just settle in and enjoy the holidays. We have done some cleaning and some TV watching and just general hanging out with each other. There haven't been too many fights so that is nice.
However, there are signs that people are getting bored and so I imagine that there will be fights and yelling to come. Right now Bear is actually cleaning the doors of the house because she wants to clean something and I don't want to have to follow behind and do it over so this was a good compromise.
Last night I gave in and went and got my nails done again. I've had them off for almost a year now, but I was tired of them looking so short and breaking and just being ugly. So I went to a place that was open late but I won't go back. They cut me with the nail file and then told me I needed to relax my hand. Not happy. The nails were well-done thought and look nice.
In other news, Hubs misjudged a parking space and cracked the bumper on his car. He's going to just order the part and fix it himself with helo from his friends so that is nice and keeps the costs down but it's still a pain.
